Post your favourite reef!!!
I think many of us have our own favourite reef tanks. Some of them inspired our current set-ups, some of them we simply admire and some of them are the whole damn reason we're in this mess called reefin'! I think it's time we start sharing our favourite reefs!
Post'em up! My personal favourites are Jon Coppolino's Angel and Acro reef and the Konolua volcano tank. |
This one def blew my mind... love the depth.

Non-photosynthetic tank that I would love to replicate sometime!

Have always loved Steve Weast's. RIP.
Another I love: Paolo Broggi http://www.thereefer.it/shop/images/DSCN1990_Paolo.jpg |
I can't link anything but I like these;
- Bonzai inspired aquascape on RC - The volcano tank above (it makes my day when I watch the videos over and over) - Steve's Oregon Reef (this is what I'm trying to mimic to some extent) - Chingchai (sp?) on RC's tank is also a work of art - I also really love that Portugal tank with the guy who has all those nursery tanks. |

I feel bad for those tangs in the volcano tank.... no room for actual swimming. |
I've tried to model my own system after Chris Ward's. I've mimicked his flow, sump, posters and few but large colonies approach.

You've done a great job at it too. I have so many favs and one is Chris Ward's. I don't believe that system is operational anymore.
Mindy why no links? Are we not supposed to link to builds on other forums? |
