Aragonite Sand Needed about 40lbs
 

HI guys,

I am just starting out my Saltwater tank and am in need of about 40lbs of Aragonite sand. If anyone is shutting down their tank I would love to take over their sand. I am willing to pay upto $25 for it. Let me know. Also the grain size should be on the larger side.

would it be better buying new sand instead of reusing old sand?

+1, you never know what is in the old sand, if copper was ever used to treat and so on. I know you probably just trying to save some bucks, but personally don't take a chance, unless you really know the history of where it came from.

Now saying that, I do know Kevin @ Red Coral has some, give him a shout.

i have some left over maybe 30 or 40lb aprox 1/8" size.
came out of my reef tank,it needs a good wash and its good to go.
