bad shrimp!bad shrimp!
Last night, to my horror, I observed the smallest of my two pep shrimp tearing the outter tentacles off of one of my ricordeas. If I could of caught him......
What does one do when things like this happen? Could it be a one time thing? Maybe the smaller shrimp wasn't getting as much to eat as the larger one (who BTW eats right out my hand-- the smaller one won't), I don't know. I'm just worried this may become a pattern of behaviour and I'll wake up one morning an find the ricordea torn to bits. For now the little bugger is in my fuge until I make a decision. Any shrimp psychologists here?? |
Hmmm, tell me about their mother......
 Sorry I couldn't resist  Maybe they need to be fed more? Or maybe they just like the feel of ricordea bits running through their little claws. Christy :) |
I don't think it is abnormal behaviour. I used to have one that ripped up my featherduster :frown:
