Can you post a recent pic?
A: The pic in post #1 was taken a few days ago. This is the skimmer as it is now. There is a bit of "gung" on the diffuser plate inside, but nothing drastic and certainly not a factor in performance.

Also,....the model is a Super Marine 250, not Deluxe.

Too bad these are so expensive, I could use a shorter skimmer! Maybe after the next lottery draw :)

Skimmer king, which is better, this one or my H&S 200A 1260

Having never owned an H&S I'm going to say this one anyways. H&S is using a really dated design but I doubt it's worth losing money in a 'sell then buy' scenario.
