Monti Cap for Sale or Trade

Hi, I have this Tan Monti Cap with pinkish rim that has out grown my tank. This coral is about 8" in diameter. I would like $60.00 for it or would trade it for a couple of coloured acro frags. I do have some flatworms just to warn you. Local pickup only. Thanks

Dave

Can I just buy a piece of it or trade for M. digitata frags?

Hi Teevee, I would like to sell it as a colony. If there are no takers for the whole thing I might consider fragging it up if enough people want a peice.

I am at work right now and the picture on my office monitor makes it look a lot darker than it is. It is actually a tan colour.

Nice piece! What kind of lighting do you have it under right now? Just looking at the pic, this cap looks like it's screaming with potential.

If I was in your area I'd take it! Good luck

If I new a little more about the lighting requirements I would be interested in it. that is a beautiful peice

It is currently under 2 - 65W 6500K compact flourecents with 2 20W actinics on a icecap 660 ballast. I only have a 29 gal tank and it keeps growing out of the water!

4.4 watts per gallon if that is correct I should have enough as I have 4.8 watts per gallon are there any other special requirements for the care of it

Just a little note for the purchaser. IF you have brighter lights eg. Halides you could expect the whole coral to turn the pink color that the tips are.
