Anemone ID
I was on a kalking quest tonight  I was inspecting some rocks found some sort of anemone it's very tiny right now smaller than a the tip of an eraser. So should i kalk it or keep it?

I have something like that in my tank. It only comes out at night and doesn't seem to be growing or spreading. I say keep it and see what happens. You can always kalk it later.

The picture lacks focus, but I would say it is Aiptasia. It is your choice to get rid of it before it spreads, or keep a close eye on it to get a better ID.

Also look towards the end of this article. Seems they are tropical relatives of the strawberry anemone we see in termperate Pacific waters... http://www.advancedaquarist.com/issu...002/invert.htm |
