Holy crap another Prince George person! Welcome to Canreef  There is a lot of information on this site and plenty of people to answer your questions. However its best to read a good book first before you really get into this. The Conscientious Marine Aquarist by Robert M. Fenner is a pretty popular one. Reef Keeping Magazine is another great source for information as it is composed of lengthy in depth articles on nearly every subject you can think of http://reefkeeping.com/issues/subject/index.php
There are two retailers in town who carry saltwater: Total Pet and All Clear Aquarium Services (a home based business). The sponsors on this site can also ship you anything you want. Most of us with established tanks trim our coral regularly so there is also a never ending supply of local coral fragments available. |
Welcome to Canreef. The Entry Fee is lots of pics of the new tank.

Hey fellow PGer welcome. What's that now 5 of us?

Welcome to the madness! You will learn this very quickly. Best advice is to put it in 1st gear and go slow. Don't forget that there are many ways of caring for your reef. Find what works for you, and stick to it.
