i got this little hitchiker crab for food for my mantis and for a bit of fun i figure i will post a little guessing game:):)


my crab is going in the tank at august 22/2010 @10:45 am (alberta) with a g.smithi mantis shrimp the tank is 20g and the mantis is the only livestock minus some liverock and long hair algae.


how long will my crab last???


my guess is 24hrs------august 23rd/2010 @ 10:45am



ill check every few hours that i can to see if he is still around:)
price is right rules closest to without going over time ends when i find the crab dead or parts of him:):) cheers and goodluck:)

what kind of crab out of curiosity?

I believe its a chalice eating hairy hitch hiker crab. Sorry I don't know the scientific name.

roughly six hours later and hes still alive if it happens it will be in the nighttime i think:):)

Crab is still kickin was hard ro find but he's there there's not many hiding places:)

lights are out it's mantis time I doubt he'll make t till moring
