humm noticed its probably time i give my powerhead a whack,shower,and shave, i suppose its still spinning in there lol anyones any worse??

This pic was taken in march and I had just bought the powerheads at xmas during a boxing day sale

Heard of it....the cashiers at the grocery store think I'm a pickling fool :lol:

LOL... too funny 1gallon of water to 1 cup vinegar. Let power head run in it over night and it will be as clean as new. I have done this to a few power heads in my time always works. I run them in a 5g pail with the mixture but I dubble it IO bucket work very good and you can seal it after use for the next time.

And I thought I was being lazy cleaning it once every 2 weeks.

In my disPlay it wouldn't fly but in my small ank kinda has it's place , that powerhad has never been cleaned in about a year lol . I leave one side of glass free fro algae to grow my 50+ snails love it they hang on the glass there it's no problem to pull sone algae and grab a few snails :) I was blessed with a few batches of baby turbo snails a while back their actually getting quite large :)

i could use a few of those snails if you got lots

I'm lucky mine never get that bad. My mexican turbo snails jump on my powerheads every few days or so and clean them up for me :)
