Can I place this clam in the rockwork?
 

Hi, A quick question. Can I place this clam in my rockwork? He's on the bottom now, but I can give him more room if i place him in the rock work.

I was keeping mine on my rock to give him more light. Just need to pick a rock that will hold him because if he falls upside down he will die in a few short hours

At that size the derasa probably wont attach to what is underneath it but if you have it kind of braced you should be able to put it anywhere you want. They grow longer and narrower than other species of clam which makes them exceptionally tippy.
