Pistol shrimp went through pump
 

My candy stripe pistol shrimp is my QT tank with his goby buddy. I have a little bowl of sand with rubble for it. Two days ago he go sucked in the HOB filter. It is still alive but is missing one of it's front legs and claw. If it survives will it grow a new leg and claw or willl it be like this forever?

any limbs lost by crustaceans come back after a couple of molts.

when I got my pistol it had lost both its claws during shipping. Less than a week later I could already hear it clicking. They grow back fast!
