Pump question
Was given a brandnew(never been used, still in plastic/box) mini-vac water pump(350gph).the problem is a red grease in where the impeller is.what can i use to clean this stuff off without leaving any harmful residues behind? If I can't get it 100% clean/safe then i won't use it

use warm water along with a vinger and salt.

Don't use it. Maybe, just maybe that grease is there for a reason. I don't know about mini-vacs, but if the impeller is greased then that doesn't sound like the type of pump you want for this hobby.
Just my two cents, Stephen |
I have the phone number for the company,so I'll call to find out if i can use this pump.
