Hey Shao,

Great pics. Were just the 6500k's on there when I was over to see your tank?? I never really noticed the yellow. I guess it shows up more in pictures though (at least for my tank). The 10,000k's look awesome and it makes me want to try some.

looks like the actinic in the last picture does absolutly nothing compared to the no actinic. is it realy that little or is it the way the pics turned out?

also was the first pic taken at a different time? if so could you do one of the left side using the Iwasaki as that is the side with all the color in that we could see the mose on.

yeah when you were over i didnt have the 10,000ks yet, so what you saw were 2 x 400W 6500k with actinics.

with the 2 x 10,000k on, you do see a slight difference when the actinics are on, gives a slightly more bluish tinge, not a great difference, but you can notice it when you flick the actincs on/off. FWIW, i find the 10,000k nice even without the actinics.

and yeah, the first pic was taken a few months earlier, i'll take a pic with a 6500k on the left side and update the thread, and edit my first post to include it.

IJO, i can do some comaprison pics of other bulbs, if soemone can lend me the other bulbs! i've only got 6500k and venkis 10,000k bulbs.
