Whos keeping 2 pygmy angels in the same tank?
i currently have a potters waiting for introduction in my new tank and would like to add a flameback angel... the potter and flameback would be introduced at the same time... last.. any thoughts????
Also if you keep more than one please tellme what types and how big your tank is.... Thanks.. |
I have an African Flameback (coral & clam-eater btw) and a Cherub in my 210g mixed reef. Never bother each other.

As long as your tank is sufficiently big enough, they should be fine.

I have a flame and a coral beauty in my 300g. The flame chases the coral beauty around once in a while but overall they get along good.

you all have large systems... i ony have a 72.. thats why i am asking...
thanks for the replys |
its going to be hit and miss
i had a flame angel with a coral beauty they got along in the 75 gal with alot of hiding places thou the key is together at the same time very important. put them in a ice cream container and then put them in. |
i have 3 in 155 gallon tanks. I think you should be fine, but it is hit and miss cases
|
I had a flame and a bi-color at one point....
|
Never tried two, 6 out of the last 7 I have purchased have been coral eaters so I have tried to keep them limited (As nice as the fish are).
I recently stopped by a guys house that had a 45g with 3 of them in it, they all seemed healthy and happy but I only stayed for 30 mins so it's hard to tell. Levi |
I have a 105 Gallon that is 5 feet long. I have two Female Swallow tails and a Coral Beauty. The Coral Beauty keeps to its self and the two Swallow Tails only chase each other if they end up on the same side of the tank. It last for a second or two and then go on doing there thing. It has gotten better and seem to be leaving each other alone.
