Copepods Across the Border

Has anybody ever brought pods across the border or had them shipped from the US? I am thinking about buying some copepods and amphipods from the US and having them shipped to my US mailbox and then driving them across the border. Just wondering if anybody has done the same?

I'm also interested I would like to have them mailed to me though. Anyone with any stories?

Why not skip the border all together?

I've dealt with reefcrew in the past and they have been great everytime!

Yup, no amphipods at reefcrew. Reefs2go is where I'm looking to order. Just don't want to have problems at the border. Shouldn't be an issue but I though I'd see what other people's experience was.

I have ordered from these guys a few times with zero problems.
they have awesome customer service.
a couple of times the shipment was a day late and they resent the whole shipment no charge to me at all.

they also ship with all the necessary documents to get it across the border including the fish and wildlife documentation.

as for buying it from somewhere else, no sure how the border guys would react.
probably shouldn't be a problem..but is it worth the chance?

hope this helps
Neal

Reefs2go doesn't ship to Canada... but that is the golden example of what I am looking for.

can do the shipping to states and you pick it up.
For delivery to a Fedex location near you, please provide the full address of the Fedex center of your choice when submitting your order. This may be obtained by calling 1 800 GO FEDEX.

looks like the best bet so far given that Howdy got some experience ordering from them. Thanks Howdy :D

I've ordered from reefs2go, and out of whole order 1 bag had spun a leak and I lost an urchin, but they credited me immediately. No they don't ship to Canada but I get it shipped to Sumas and bring it across with no problem. If someone needs something and willing to pay the taxes and a couple of bucks for my trouble I'm more then willing to pick it up and bring it across.
