Bottom of Seastar/H2O tank

I just bought a Seastar/H2O 10-gallon tank for quarantine/hospital.

I want to put it on top of my entertainment centre because there's no other room. The top is flat however I noticed on the bottom of the tank it has a raised rim underneath. I assume this is intended for a proper tank stand where the support is along the sides and this rim goes down to keep it from moving.

Is this OK to use on a flat-bottom support surface? If I did the entire weight of this tank will be supported by this rim. I'm calling the store tomorrow and see what they have to say but in the meantime I'm eager to get this setup.

IMO, you should be fine.
