US snails
 

i need a new clean up crew! Thanks to my hawkfish and wrasse,:lol:

I have been looking at US prices and they are crazy cheap. Has anyone imported any snails lately? Did the border cause any problems? I want to declare them and pay the duty, so It's not like i want to sneak them in!

snails are slow, border guards would catch them before they were able to sneak in

Most are. I know in the US they have quite a few problems with the Mexican Turbos coming in illegally. They're speedy!

I was down in Minnesota a couple years ago, and brought back some snails. I declared them, they brought me in, and checked there book, they didn't even know what section they were under. I mentioned checking under inverts, or crustations, they kept looking under amphibions. Anyways after about 10min, and 5 of them having no luck, they sent me on my way. Mind you that was driving, mailorder would be a little different.
