hello i just got a used ro/di filter for my tank .the person i got it from said about filters in it where less then 4 months old and she last used it about 2 mouths ago .when i open canisters where filters go they where fillled with water .would filters still be ok to use if they sat in water for that long ?or could just wash them out realy good and let unit run for few hours in sink before topping up my tank

I'm not sure, but i would replace them just to be safe. You should at least replace the first couple of stages. They are not very expensive.
