NSW refractometers
 

We are please to announce as of June ALL refractometers supplied to our great canadian dealer network will be provided with the correct calibration solution making sure that your refractometer actually is accurate at reading NSW.

It has long been known that calibrating to zero or not using a known NSW solution leads to innacurate readings as many refractomers are only designed for NACL etc. The refractive index is thrown off when reading NSW due to the other elements found in NSW.

All new refractometers will therefore be supplied with Fauna marin Multi ref test solution in a small vial for initial calibration and onward accuracy.

The set point will be 35PPT
