Anybody know where I can get 2'x4' black egg crate?

Try the black market Lance. Trouble is find retail locations.

buy white and paint it much much cheaper

Home depot in Richmond had it last year. Twice the price though.

You could try an electrical wholesaler such as Eecol or Westburne.

Albrites Lighting in Victoria has ordered it in for me in the past.

$13.50 per 2'x4' panel (much cheaper than anything I could find in Canada and they will sell individual panels. Everywhere else required a whole box sale. I don't know how much the brokerage fees are yet, but I'll let you know if you're interested.

BRS also sells 2x2 pieces which I discovered after I'd forgotten this thread.
