Need a skimmer!!!
I'm going away for 3 weeks,a friend is coming over to check the tank but I'm afraid my exterior skimmer will flood my appartment while im gone and well.. I need an In-sump skimmer
90g SPS reef heavy stocked it needs to be max 22 tall, less than 14 inches long and less than 12 deep http://www.canreef.com/vbulletin/ima...ilies/cool.gif Here are a few options: http://saltwaterconnection.com/index...&products_id=4 http://saltwaterconnection.com/index...&products_id=3 Any other options will be highly appreciated! |
Go with the 200.

That's what I'm thinking
Do you have any experiece with th SWC skimmers? Or any other skimmer that may work for me... I'm currently skimmerless  |
Depending how much you want to budget for it. But for that price range, that's not a bad skimmer at all from the reviews. I am not the most bias person to be asking.
|
Thanks, the price range is around 350  Hopefully someone else will chime in

What's wrong with your octo?
|
Nothing it's just that I want an insump skimmer for the looks  Beside the tank is in my room and that the fact that I'm going away and my friend knows nothing about tanks she will only feed the fish and top off... If the cup overflows it will overflow in the sump.. so I don't have to worry about a smelly carped and mad neighbors :P

what about modding the collection cup? to a 5gallon pail?

well it looks like your skimmer has a drain hole connected to a 1 gallon container. why not just put a larger bucket in there instead of modding it into a collection cup.
