Mantis Shrimp & Mandarin Goby

Hey everybody,
I have a hitchhiker mantis shrimp in my sump. Anyone interested, he's a freebie. I also have a blue mandarin for sale. He is in my refugium right now. Unfortunately my green Mandarin almost killed him so I had to put him in the sump. I've had him for about 3 months. He's a little thin but is eating pods. I'm only asking $15, but he needs to go to a well established tank that's producing lots of pods.

I would like to help. but I think the Mantis would have my CBS for lunch. My 15 gallon nano produces pods, but not enough for a Mandarin I don't think, and in my 50 there would be competition from my six line I think.

If you can hang on to the mandarin for about a week, I would take him. I had a very healthy one get sucked into the powerhead. Fixed that since then.

What type of mantis is it? I may be interested.

Thanks,

Hey Evan,
I'm not sure which type he is. It's about 2 inches long, and brown. He's a freebie if you want him.

Hey Keith ... if you decide against getting the Mandarin I have some room for him ...

Mike ... is he eating anything other than the pods in the tank like brine or mysis ? ... if not then no problemo as he will do fine in the display tank.

Cheers

I think Alan spoke for him first but if he doesn't want him you go ahead Steve. It may be awhile before I make it to Calgary next and I can't ask Mike to keep him that long.
