Tyler's 30g Build
So as the story goes after having 4-5ish sw tanks that have not turned out to well i have decided to take a step back, and start new and slow... I traded my 90g setup for a nice stand and 30g tank (THE STAND BEING THE ITEM THAT HAS FAILED IN MY PREVIOUSE TANKS) So after getting a steardy stand i proceded to prime and paint it. After i decided i wanted to go with a internal overflow i brought the tank a local sw store and got a quote on what it would cost to drill and build and overflow box. At the end of the day it was going to be $50 more to build a brand new tank with everything i wanted so i went with that. So after waiting a couple weeks for my new tank today i finally was able to pick it up. To my surprise the tank wasnt's what i was expecting. First there where no two return holes drilled (not a big deal at all, i actually like how i planned it now) Second THE TANK WAS TO LONG! The stand i had fit the old tank just perfect and now this new tank has a overhang

So as it turns out i gave the wrong dimensions for my sump (not to get confused the main tank i gave exact dimenisons) From that i had to cut a small section out of the stand so i could slide the sump in

So after planning my plumbing i went out to purchase what i thought i needed and then some. Turns out that then some wasnt enough lol
