Euro-Reef
Well my roomie has had his new ES6-1 skimmer up and running for a week now! All Al and I can say is  wow!
These skimmers are the cat's ass, plug and play design, serious bubbles, and producing a rotten green skimate like mad  Both Al and I give this skimmer a "Two Fins Up" Cheers- to all that helped him out in his decission  |
sweet  . what tank size is that running on? that is the exact skimmer i plan for my 75g
|
It's running on a 60 with a 20 sump. Works like a freak'n charm!
      |
hgow about noise concern?? noisy? and will it be too strongly skimmed?
|
That's an interesting point, one I've heard before but never thought too much about. I wonder if it might be a good thing to let some of that crud stay in the tank for a while. You know how they say that kids these days have so many allergies because we're all too clean... maybe our tanks are the same, and we need to let them wallow in filth for a bit, so to speak.

yeah, i have done experiments with soft corals and goniopora, skimming does make a difference, and actually organics are somewhat beneficial to the system, providing it is at sufficent quantities.
Cheers  |
