Is two part epoxy marine aquarium safe?

I'm new into the world of marine aquariums and like the title says I was just wondering if two part epoxy is marine aquarium safe?

Thanks for any help!

Buy the formulations available at your LFS and you'll be fine. Most of the hardware store stuff is probably OK, but there are so many kinds of epoxy out there, it is better to be safe than sorry.

Plain old epoxy putty is fine. The plumbing ones usually have metal mixed in so don't get one that is specific for pipe repair. I have been using stuff I get at my plastic supply shop for a long time with no ill effects. Packaging and colour is almost identical to the Two Little Fishies stuff the LFS sell.

I have used every brand J&L sells and a couple that they don't carry (for good reason), try this http://www.jlaquatics.com/product/MC...put+Epoxy.html

You won't want to use anything else.
