Substrate Question - Going from CC to DSB
 

So I decided to change my substrate from my CC to Sand.

What type of sand is the overall best choice for a reef system that will allow me to choose from a wide range of possible inhabitants?

Also, other then flow direction causing sand storms, what else should I know about when going from a coarse heavy substrate to sand 3- 4 inches deep.

Any reccomended reading?
