3D TV's
Anyone have one yet? Some people think its a fad, but I'm quite excited about it. Doubt I will jump in on the first gen of these products as the glasses seem waaaaay to expensive at the moment. $150 per pair? no thanks.
What I'm really waiting for is a 3D projector so you can have a 100" 3D imagage for movies/games, that would be intense. Oh yah, and the Masters this weekend is being partially broadcast in 3D by comcast in the states! |
Are there any dealers stocking them in Canada yet?
|
I was under the impression that they weren't coming out for a few more months yet in Canada?
|
I use to run Vision Electronic stores way back when. I won't be touching them, all this 3D stuff in tv's and movies. Come on, why not try to create better shows, where you don't need gimmicks.
I think I am getting old, next I will want the music turned down. |
futureshop looks like they have em at the moment, 1 type, 2 different colors

yah, thats the problem, I think there is going to be 3 3d-blu-rays before the end of the year... so there really is no advantage to being an early adopter. Even Avatar isn't coming out until next year (in 3D)

Personally, i would wait a few years for the content to catch up and the technology to become cheaper and for them to work out all the bugs. But I have a fairly new HD LCD TV. If I were in the market for something and the price premium wasn't a big deal then maybe I would consider it as you will probably want to keep it for more than 2 to 3 years before buying another TV.
