Digital camera question

I have a HP 315 camera, and I am not impressed with my aquarium pictures. This is especially true of closeups  Would anyone be able to recommend a different camera that works better. but that would not break the bank

Does the camers have a macro feature? Try that if it does.

I looked at the menu, and was able to find "zoom", but not macro.

Yeah those HP camera are POS's, I'm a big fan of Canon Cameras, I love my S30. Nikon's are great cameras too but a little more costly but take some awesome pictures, I really guess it depends on your budget

I have a canon s230, takes ok aquarium pics...you'll need to get one with manual white balance.. the nikon ones have one of the best macros...

Our sony 51 works very well Bob. you can get them now for about $300 ish dollars.
We had an HP before this one and we gave it away. Almost couldn't do that.

Make sure you have a good sturdy tripod if you are taking macro shots.

I am wondering what Alan uses, he seemed to have some real nice shots I too will probably give away this HP as it seems like POS.

You can give it to me if you want. Better than what I have now.
