LF Sump
 

Anyone got a sump big enough for a 300 gallon tank (preferably with a hole drilled on the bottom side) desperate as mine has a crack with a slow leak.

I have a 77 gallon with a 2 inch bulkhead in the end.
Also have 3 peices of glass to be used as bubble trap.
50$
comes with bulkhead and fittings.

It did sell just not on this thread, your right it woulda been more complete had i included silicone.

Too bloody big a crack, the silicon only slowed it down.

put seran wrap on the inside of the sump where the crack is this will be pressed up against the crack and seal the water flow and then you need to scrap off the silicone wher the crack is and then get a piece of glass that is long enough to cover the crack and spread silicone over the entire piece of glass. then put glass over the crack you will need atleast 2" of overlap the more the better. You can also empty the tank todo this repair then you can get a piece that is the same size as the side with the crack and cover the whole thing, you will still haveto cover the whole piece with silicone before applying it to the cracked area.
I have a few tanks that you can buy from me but I am in Kamloops BC about 8hrs from you. lets see I have a 55g and a 90g that I boought off anouther canreefer 6months ago wa going to upgrade to it but found a 110g instead. 90g is suposto be a oceanic tank with starfire glass. I did also get the sump that he got with the tank it is definitly a oceanic sump the trim on both tanks is the same.

The bulkhead: 2" was made to plumb into a reeflow pump
Fuge: 15g

It was used for 2 years and worked great. The sump section easily held a euroreef 125, heater, and a TLF Phosban reactor.
