Skimmer Hook Up Question
 

I have an Aqua Medic Turboflotor 1000. I need some kind of idea how to hook it up. I have an Oceanrunner 3500 return pump with a tee and valve piped over for the water feed but do I need another pump to run the skimmer itself? The instructions call for an Oceanrunner 2700 or a Rio 1700/2100 to drive the unit. I was under the impression when I bought it that the one 3500returm pump was all I needed.

does it have the recirculating pump on the side..if so hook the tee off the return pump and adjust the flow so its not overpowering the skimmer
if there is no pump on the side then you will need another pump to produce bubbles ....

What kind of pump is that Carmen and what size is it?

It's an Ocean Runner 2500.
