Woo Hoo Upgrade coming.
 

So after running my 45g reef for about 6 months i have decided its time to upgrade. not sure how big yet but most likely 100 - 160 gallons. not willing to go any bigger than that as i rent and would have to move it someday.

when i figure out more i will post more.

oh i want your 45 gal so bad too.

keeping my 45 and transferring my 10g into it. its going to be my invert/small fish tank. thinking 20 pompoms 20 sexy shrimp. and what other small inverts can find.

Thanks. the upgrade is mostley for the hawaiin flame wrasse. plus i love tangs and would to try a couple.

So still trying to talk my landlord into letting me get a bigger tank. if i can then this is what i am thinking.

48x36x20T. approx 146G overflow to be closer to the back wall and center to the sides inside the tank. (simular to the hex at red coral)

OR

72x24x20T same volume.

75G sump

8x54W t5 unless i find a decent MH for a decent price.

unsure about a skimmer thus far.

any suggestions.????

Hey Mike, nice to meet you yesterday, no suggestions on the skimmer but I think I might know someone that could build you a sweet stand :wink:
