Skimmers CPr Bak pak
 

Hi,
I have the crp bak pack skimmer in my sump. What is the crap in the cup suppost to look like?
It says that rais/lower cup determines affluent accumulation but no reference to shich does what.
Right now mine comes out a darker color green after a few days, but the tubes are covered in green slime stuff?

Pictures would help. If its dark and smells bad the skimmer is working well. I ran a Bak Pak on my nano for a year and I would set the cup as low as I could. Dont set it so low that it fills up right away, set it so that you only have to empty it out once a week.
