RO/DI production Question
 

I have had the unit for almost the month now and i have noticed that the product water (as well as the waste water) is coming out a lot faster now. its this something is should be concerned about?

usually, water comming out slows down. Don't know why it is going faster now.
Maybe there was an air lock somewhere?

A few parameters can affect output rate of a RO/DI. Some come to mind are: water temperature (has your tap water temp increased recently?), pressure (do you notice of any changes in the tap water pressure?).
Do you have a tds meter? If not, one is highly recommended if you are using ro/di water.

the temp might have increased. pressure is the same. i am picking up a TDS meter tomorrow.

is it a new unit?

yes.. i bought it new about 3 weeks ago... i have also noticed that the DI resin is already changing color (about 1/5) not sure if it this is quick or not.
