Awe, jealous of the clowns in the elegance coral...maybe in the next tank....

they used to host in an amazing rose 'nem, but one day I came back from a night shift to a cloudy tank and a shredded nem :( anyways, I'm planning on maiking a sps reef so I'll steer away from nems until my sps are big enough to sustain some stringing
Also, foxface picture was taken at night with flash, hence the tactical camo outfit |
Update.
fish list now contain a leopard wrasse and a copperband butterfly. They have both been in the tank for 1+ month and are eating very well. The copperband is even competing with the foxface to eat the thawed mysis I throw in the tank http://i777.photobucket.com/albums/y...copperband.jpg http://i777.photobucket.com/albums/y...ef/leopard.jpg I Also upgraded the skimmer to a SWC 160 xtreme cone. So far so good. With my skimmer being so powerful, I just started dosing VSV today. My GFO reactor w/ chaeto wasn't cutting it. Too much brown in my frags. http://i777.photobucket.com/albums/y...nyReef/swc.jpg Here's some frag pictures http://i777.photobucket.com/albums/y...f/greenzoo.jpg http://i777.photobucket.com/albums/y.../birdnest2.jpg |
As for VSV, I'm using 200ml vodka, 50ml vinegar, 1.5 tsp sugar. I dosed .2ml today. I'll keep this up for a week, add another .2ml per week until I reach 1ml (unless I run into issues)
