Wonder how the humidity level is in his House :)

What a NICE tank though

I am assuming you are not familiar with Mr. 4000 then, who had a 4000 gallon tank in his basement. Apparently he had to remove it as it was rotting his house out.

I install very large shark tanks reef tanks and display tanks in businesses and houses and as long as they are plumbed and vented properly they will not rot your house

do you have any pics of your work(shark tanks)?

Whats the best way to vent a room? I have a room in my basement that I eventually want to use for a in wall 300+ gallon tank

Hey Jim
Well I have about 400 ish gallon's in a room the size of a bedroom in the basement. The room does not have a return air to the furnace so the humidity cannot be sucked into the rest of the house.

I installed a bathroom air fan (larger in size) and left about a 3 inch gap under the door. The room is sealed. It get's very hot and humid when the light's are on. I have the bathroom exhaust fan on a humidistat and it turn's on when the room goes above 45 to 50% humidity (I can adjust this of course as well.)

In my opinion this is how you seal off a tank from rotting the rest of your house.
