colt problems

Well i have a purple or blue colt i got from doug. now i had the 400 12K bulb over him for about 3 weeks, and notice nothing switched to a 6500k iwasaki and it ballonned out ,switched back to the 12 K and it went back to normal ballooning , so i went back to the same 65k iwasaki and now the colt after 2-3 weeks is shrinking bad i have had lots of current on him and lots of light but nothing water parameter s are all good.

anything to try differnet
