Potentially a Dictoya Sp.
Nasty stuff to get rid of, smallest piece will start growing all over again. What worked for me was to pick as much by hand raise my mag. to about 1600, didn't get rid of it but really slowed down the growth.
I only have a 30gal so a Tang is not do-able.

Yup....that be dictyota......Naso tang and/or Colin's advice, plus you can think about things like; how old are your bulbs, how long do you run your lights for, what and how much do you feed, how do you feed (do you strain your frozen food or add the dirty water to your tank), are you running any phosphate absorbing media?

ya my bulbs are about 6 months old 3 actinic and 3 day lite t5ho
i run them bout 8- 10 hrs a day
yes on the frozen to target feed and pellets for the fish
my phosphates are zero as of now
i am currently vodka dosing
