O.C. is giving back, Reef Check partnership! Get involved!!

Oceanic Corals officially became a registered partner of Reef Check today, Reef Check is a large international non profit society that implements numerous programs focusing on protecting the worlds reefs and ocean ecosystems.

Oceanic will be donating $1 to Reef Check for every listing that displays the Reef Check logo. The corals we choose are the species that are aquacultured in house or by one of our suppliers and we feel that these "domesticated" corals are the future of the hobby. We will also be listing one special piece a month and donate 50% to Reef Check.

We urge everyone to become a member of Reef Check, it is free and they update you with interesting news from the reefs around the world. Donations can be also be made and we urge anyone that feels generous to do so.

We as a vendor feel that we have a responsibility to try to do what we can to help ensure that the oceans can keep up with the demand we all put on it for everything we use it for.

Reef Check can also be found on Facebook by doing a search under their name.

We actually had to go through a bit of a process in order to be approved by the director of Reef Check, I think is pretty safe to say we are the only vendor of live Coral to be a contributing approved member and partner with this organization.
