Candycane coral in Calgary
Well my huge candycane coral doesn't like my 1350watt's of light's so it's looking a little unhappy. It needs to go to a moderatly lit new home.
flourescent's, pc's or mild halides would be great for this coral It's green when it's happy and about the size of a soft ball. I love this coral and could keep it but it would be in my refugium and that's not ideal for it. $35.00 |
Here is a link to a pic of the type of coral.

I have only PC lighting, and can easilly find room for the Caulastrea. I already have a smaller one in my 50.

Jon, what's it doing that indicates it's unhappy. I put mine under a ledge, it seems happy, but of course I only have two 400w fixtures and you have four.
|
Well Quinn,
Basically it's kinda shrivvled in appearance and not expanded. If it's under a ledge in your tank than you should be good. I don't really have any semi lit ledges in my tank so it's getting too much light and is sucked in in appearance. Bob if you want it than say the word and it's your's. |
OK Jon the word is yes. I will take it.
|
Sold, When do you want to pick it up Bob?
The sooner the better so it's get's into it's proper condition's. I have in under a full ledge not so it's not getting too much light. |
