yellowish white puff balls on my LR??????
Ok so i was looking at my tank today and its relitivly new (6 months) and there are like 8 yellowish white fluffy looking balls on one peice of live rock they also have a tube coming out of them. There about 1/4 big
now for my other question i also saw what looked like a snail without a shell zooming all over my glass, i looked up flatworms and it doesnt look like that hmmmmm basically exactly like a snail with no shell its the oddest thing Does anyone have some insight to this bad/good sorry for no pictures i dont have a digi cam |
First sounds like a sponge.
I've had those snails appear out of nowhere as well. Eithe it grows a shell later or those ones don't have shells I never found out. It's black right? Not something to worry about. |

hahah awesome
your good yea thats what they look like nuke em or keep em?

I'm fairly certain most any sponge is desireable, they're filter feeders and help keep your water cleaner. I have two or three that I can see in my system, I'd say there are probably more that are not visible, tucked away inside the rockwork.
