More intense awesomeness: LPS Edition

Okay, rd. 2 of the Freakin' Fraggin' Frenzy!

(I know this was a long time coming - Thanks to everyone for being patient!)

Aussie Acanthastrea lordhowensis - $50

http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z...RALS/LPS/1.jpg

Start your Acan collection now! Gorgeous, generous frags of this brilliant beginner’s coral.

4-8 polyps per frag.

Monster Green Ravites Favites! - $10 | $30

http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z...aFrag01A10.jpg

The most intensely green Favites I have ever seen! Available in both skin-flap and regular 2” frags.

Peppermint Marmalade Deepwater Favitia - $20

http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z...ALS/LPS/10.jpg

Slow growing, but rewarding coral ready to occupy that low light, low current nook in your reef. Very hardy LPS and one I definitely recommend to fanciers of all levels, especially at this price!

Deepwater Maze - $25

http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z...RALS/LPS/9.jpg

Glows, glows, glows, glows, glows! Did I forget to mention that this thing glows? The contrast on this coral is absolutely incredible! Larger frags available upon request.

Green Blasto wellsi - $30

http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z...ALS/LPS/11.jpg

SWEET Blasto frags!!! Polyp extension is much better than the picture would indicate. I was a little hasty in taking the pictures. What can I say? It was late... :)

Anyway, frags are well adjusted and will eat more mysis than you can throw at them!

OC Nebula Lepto - $30

http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z...ALS/LPS/12.jpg

I LOVE this coral and you will too! Super unique color and corallite structure. This coral is very partial to the lower light regions of our tanks (I have it tucked away under the frag racks where it is greedily snagging floaty bits of food) and makes a perfect centerpiece to the bottom section of your tank.

Molten Core Chalice - $40

http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z...RALS/LPS/3.jpg

Now ready for your collection – Fiery justice, tempered by awesomeness.

Yes... I just said all that... This coral is for the 1337 only.

T-Rex Chalice - $40

http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z...RALS/LPS/4.jpg

Another exotic Chalice straight from your wish list. Last batch of these disappeared in one bout of sales. Limited quantities, so get yours before they’re gone!

Applemint/Magma Chalice - $30

http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z...RALS/LPS/5.jpg

I had a tough time capturing the metallic sheen of this piece; this thing really glows! Attentions will be caught and held indiscriminately...

Pearlgum Chalice - $30

http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z...RALS/LPS/6.jpg

Another Chalice that is much more metallic than the picture above would indicate. Pinker than the Applemint, this one makes a standout for anyone looking to add some dazzle to their tank.

Red Bubblegum Chalice -$40

http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z...RALS/LPS/7.jpg

A different take on the much more common Pink Bubblegum; this strain sports super rich color depth. Another collector’s item.

Galaxy Eye Chalice - $50

http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z...RALS/LPS/8.jpg

I know a lot of you who have been by the shop have been waiting for me to frag this one for a while. Well I’ve finally gotten abouts to doing it. First come, first serve guys, no pushing in line...

Steelie Chalice - $50

http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z...eFrag02A50.jpg

Marbled goodness with almost zero color blending, awesome contrast! I have been very happy with this Chalice’s colors under both high and low light. Displays best under KZ Fiji Purple T5 bulbs.

Super Sun Polyps (Dendrophyllia) - $20/polyp

http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z...0image01AB.jpg

Super big polyps will eat absolutely everything. Extremely forgiving (far more so than regular Sun Polyps), will stay open all day long and fairly fast growing if fed often. Does not require any lighting; make sure you place them where you will be able to feed them.

Heads are mounted singly to plugs. Larger frags can be cut upon request.

I think most of us can actually count ourselves as being lucky, the lower mainland has some pretty good shops; however, in order to stand out each of us has to do something a little different. Hopefully people will appreciate the things we (O.C.)choose to focus on.....
