Should we have a poll to get rid of a poll that's 35 options long
 

The favorite photo poll is 35 options long and takes up 1/2 my page. This poll will give us back the page!

If your using Firefox, GreaseMonkey should be able to keep the poll block reduced (I couldn't get it working though). Some details and link in this thread.

I think that the POTM event is one of the best ideas that CANREEF has come up with.

First the pictures are fantastic

Second the participation it's fantastic look at the response it is getting better each month

Third CANREEF can become quite boring with minute by minute self promoting adds by our sponsors. The CANREEF Forum often reminds me of one of those Reef Magazines you know 200 pages of ads with 14 pages of articles.

When it comes to POTM I would like to it grow even more 35 to 50 to 100. That would mean that the initial purpose of the forum is being achieved.

Maybe just make the option to hide the stuff better?

The picture of the month is a great part of Canreef, but the poll should be removed to free up space once the contest is over. I wouldn't have done this if it was still going on.

Someone needs to think of a better poll to replace this one on the main page... please. (too many glasses of wine last night)
