RO/DI Recomendations
 

Can anyone suggest the best system for the best price?

Only a reefer can be excited to get a RO/DI unit for her birthday!

I live in Calgary and if someone can suggest a good dealer or place to buy?

I pick one up from Red Coral. Very happy with it.

Aquasafe units are great and well-priced!

I dont think the brand really matters THAT much though... its more about the quality of the filters/membrane that come with it, and how its set-up. I bought my unit stock, used it that way, then modified it a bit to improve performance. You cant do whatever you want with any unit basically!

I'd recommend the vertex 100 deluxe. A little pricey at around $350 but it's a really sweet slick unit. I have to admit I was skeptical at first but after installing a couple and seeing them in action well worth the extra money. It has an actual waste ratio very close to 1:1, auto back flush, built in tds meter and booster pump.

The aquasafe units are hit or miss on the quality, wasteful and don't produce anywhere near the rated gpd.
