Wow, whatever it is, that colour of purple is killer!! It's hard to say for sure but I'm gonna guess Heteractis crispa (or "sebae" anemone). It could also be maybe Heteractis malu (also called "sebae") or Macrodactyla doreensis (Long tentacle / "LTA"). Actually scratch that, it's almost assuredly not a LTA, not sitting the way a LTA would in the sand, I think.. The base is a bit bleached (very common for H. crispa to come in this way), should it prove to do well for you the while will likely tan out. This browning out is actually a good thing as it's due to zooxanthellae taking hold. In the meantime though it will need to derive all it's energy from food so I would feed it a little piece of shrimp say once per week. Hope this helps! |

thats great thanks..... I traded a niger trigger for the anemone and Clownfish I've only had them for a week.... thanks again
