GPH Canister Filter rating.
 

Hi, just a quick question here... I was wondering when a canister filter lists its GPH as 450, I assume this means with no media? So the actual flow rate would be much less? Any estimates on how much this would be reduced by? I'm looking at getting a canister to use as my return pump, and wanted to size it accordingly... thanks!
