Alan, you are very good with that camera. The carpet looks great.
There is also some type of black blenny called a sailfin. It looks something like a bicolour. AI had one a little while back. |
Great Shots!! Love the Carpet

Hi Allen;
great shots, may I ask what camera you have been using and if you have used any special settings when you shoot your fish? Thanks |
Appreciate all the kind comments - :biggrin: . Being able to share some of what's going on in there is a very cool thing. (And making the careful and measured decision to get that S. haddoni from Delphinus is a high point for sure.) :cool:
Trevor - the camera is a Kodak DC280 (2.0 MP) so nothing special, but I use a 7x and/or 10x diopter for closeups. Typically set for auto-white balance (or fluorescent), auto-ISO. No flash, and exposure set to -.5 to avoid washout. No flash, (the camera flash is kind of lame) and I rest the camera right against the glass for the macro shots. It's been real fun learning to make decent shots with what I thought was a piece of junk. :eek: Cheers, |
