new reef tank
Just trying to figure out how many gallons a tank 96"Lx30"Wx19"tall would be.
Any one know the formula for this? Thanks. |

new reef tank
that would be 236 gallons.
Thanks Treebeard (As in the Ent?) Keith. |
This link is really good, gives you all the wierd shapes to pick from as well you can add LR, sand, fuge's, sumps to it to get true volume.

Best books ever.
I don't know how many times I have read those books. I can't wait for the Hobbit movie!
No I am not a "geek" Even If I did collect comics for years! |
For future reference you don't need that site to calculate the empty volume. All you need is the volume of the tank in cubic inches (length x width x height) and then divide by 231 to get the volume in gallons.
