Removing the BTA, driving me crazy

Help !
Maybe you guys have an idea...During the heat wave my green BTA decided to split, leaving me now with two. My percs absolutely love it, they each have a home. I would like to remove the BTA and keep the clone since I like where it is(the front of the tank instead of the back).

The large BTA is on the back of the tank, her foot is crammed into a large rock, so removing the rock is out of question. I have tried the Koralia directly on her, no chance there.

Any other idea? I really want her gone :twised:

Ice cube on the foot works sometime, but if it is far to reach try changing the angle of the water stream from your power head. Koralia may be too gentle, try regular power head with jet like flow.

Hi, we have used a ice cube on the foot also to get it to let up on a Carpet Anemone

use a plastic zip tie to irritate the foot - it'll loosen it's hold as it moves away, or may let go completely. I've used this method before and works pretty quickly so there's no prolonged stress to the nem.
