im looking for 2 x 250w running 1000k each, any thoughts of where to pick this up?

Kris, if you can do the wiring and such yourself then buy all your parts and put them together. You can then pick the bulb up at an aquarium store. Otherwise J&L Aquatics are a good source for complete units. I didn't save much building my own system to be honest. Are you building your own hood and fitting the lighting into it?

yes i will be building my hood, and doing the lights my self is not a big deal to me.. dose anyone have the web site to albright?

Try Specialty Bulb Products in Langley. I bought my workhorse balast from them and was happy with the price/service.

Just ordered a couple of set ups from:
