Cheap Clams
 

PJ's has a bunch of clams going for 50bucks i got two of them. Great selection they are 3-4inches for 50buck and about 7 inch clam go for 80bucks. they won't last long Big al's has them too but prepare too pay twice as much.

How are they as far as colour goes? Would you call them premium, high grade, or just typical? What species are they?

most are crocea, but there were a few maxima mixed in too. They are pretty typical. I got a nice purple one and a purple/green. i haven't got any decent pics yet. Still worth the price IMO

i was just there this morning , picked up 2 small ones they look pretty good .they are at the PJ on Calgary north bound btw( i think it the only PJ that sells saltwater now ) will post a pict later when they open up more
